Hey guys, I've been thinking.

Even after 8000 posts, 100 members and a couple years, Twilight Hollow's lookin' like hell. It's really not that much more active than when we first moved to this host.

Ultimately I wanted this place to act as a roleplaying haven that would draw interest to the game I'm working on, but as I've feared, it's more or less become a general discussion with very little traffic.

If I'm to have very little traffic on a site, I'd rather it be exclusively aimed at the game itself.

Also, recently I've been spending much more time cataloging stuff for Twilight Hollow: The Advent of Dogma, and the time is fast approaching when I'll be out of school and directly aimed at getting a full-time job. Once this happens, I suspect I'll have even less time to work on things like this site as ultimately for me it's a bit of a trivial matter.

I won't lie, a lot of this thinking spurned from the lack of absolutely any replies on the Halloween Event. But don't blame yourselves if the idea wasn't great or you hadn't the time, it's just the way these things roll out.

I plan to start a new site, iPBFree based, aimed exclusively at the Twilight Hollow game design. Here I will more actively be seeking help, ideas and member's original character and area designs for it.

Also since I believe most people would come to believe the game's content to be questionable, I don't expect most, if any, of you to visit, though you are completely welcome to.


Thus far I am seeking to see if it's possible to transfer posts over to such a site from here, I'll find out soon enough, but so far I'd assume it cannot be done.


At this point, I'd say you should make a decision. Either A.) continue to act like nothing's changed, B.) pack your things and take your leave (if you were RPing, I recommend visiting space-kitten.org (great site, just beware of Cirno), if you were just here for discussion, I recommend gaiaonline.com (for discussions on anime & games) or veggieboards.com (for more intelligent philosophical/political stuff)) or C.) request to be e-mailed once the new site is relatively completed so you can come visit it and perhaps drop your two cents into the discussion forums there.

* sniff * i hate it when sites close -___- and i very much liked reading what everyone here posted, even if i was more of a lurker that didn't really post anything. but i do suppose everyone has lives outside of the internet. i should be working on my own site more. it's a FAIL compared to this one. i would miss Twilight Hollow

The Moonwings website at space-kitten.org was great and it closed down too. Fortunately it's back up and running strong. If I had to recommend a good alternative to this place, I'd definitely say that's the place.

I've already made significant progress on the new site.

In your case cityStatic, you should still see me on the iPBFree forums.

I've pretty much decided to eventually close this place, after I've transferred over all the remaining important codes, images and information. After I've done that, I'll deconstruct this place and then for courtesy's sake, submit the skin to the main forums for public use.

Also, I know where you're coming from, this place has honestly stolen a lot of ideas from other forums too, threads included. If you're interested enough, you can still come to the new site and chat about anime, or simply ask for/discuss web design advice from me, but it'll be from a General Discussion thread (likely) and the forum itself will not be specifically directed at anime fans, though for the game I intend to make progress on, I do intend to give it an anime style.

I finally find myself saying "Yo, I'm hella bored. OH HOLY FUCK, I HAVN'T BEEN TO TH IN AGES!!! WHAT AWESOME HI-JINKS HAVE THEY BEEN UP TO!?!?!?!1111one1!" and ur all closin down. Lame. I suppose I have to at least partially blame myself, for the long absences, but in my defense, I've been fuckin busy.

Anyway, Dogma, I'd love to help out with the game design. I'm not great technically, but if you want a "consultant" or "voice actor" or something else that's not artistic, let me know.
